What do you guys think of performing full range of motion for exercises such as bench press, and extending the arms during chin ups?
Hey, thanks for the question. I think we are all definitely guilty of paying a little too much attention to using more weight, or trying to do more reps at the cost of proper technique. Full range of motion is important and will help you properly develop the entire muscle target groups of each exercise. In a sport that is so technically demanding, weight training in a technically conscious manner with full range is a good idea. Finally, this will help you avoid the good natured ribbings.
