Dear C4c I have just become a canoer and I was wondering whether I should be doing any stretches to help my knee
from getting injured. I was also wondering what the best thing to work on during the winter would be?
As for the knee, see the question before, I think this may help. During the winter months when you are off the
water the best things to work on are overall muscle strength and muscle endurance, as well as fitness (i.e.
running, swimming, cross country skiing etc.). This will have you in the best possible shape leading into the season.
